Former Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation(ZBC) news anchor Zvikomborero Sibanda has died.
She was 46 years old.
Sibanda died this Thursday in Bulawayo after succumbing to a prolonged battle with fibroid-related complications.
She worked as ZBC’s Midlands Province Bureau Chief before being transferred to Harare.
She then joined the National Oil Company after leaving ZBC.
ZBC’s Classic 263 station manager Mr Terrence Mapurisana who had worked with her said she was a vibrant journalist who had a nose for news.
He added that Zvikomborero would also brighten the newsroom with her cheerfulness and enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, mourners are gathered at block 75/2300, Mpopoma Bulawayo.
She is survived by her husband.
