FORMER Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions FC Platinum continue to struggle in front of goal despite protecting their unbeaten run.
The former champions recorded their 10th draw on Saturday after forcing a one-all share of spoils with Bikita Minerals.
The Lithium boys had a decent day, dictating pace in the midfield, finding an opener in the first stanza, before FC Platinum restored parity in the second half courtesy of a penalty after they had fluffed numerous chances in open play.
The Zvishavane-based side are undefeated in 12 outings, but have only managed to win twice and they have scored a mere eight goals.
Only Dynamos, Kwekwe United and Chicken Inn have scored fewer goals than the Platinum Miners.
Head coach Norman Mapeza is still hopeful his boys wide will end their goal scoring woes.
“A good game in which we could have collected three points, especially after missing those second-half opportunities. Thando made wrong decisions, but we will work and rediscover our goal-scoring form.”
FC Platinum started slowly this season, but are yet to taste defeat.
