ZIMBABWE’s Parliament has been plunged into mourning following the tragic death of Nkulumane legislator, Honourable Desire Moyo, who died in a car accident along the Bulawayo-Gweru Highway in the early hours of Friday morning.
Honourable Moyo died on the spot after his vehicle hit an elephant.
Four other legislators, Matobo’s Honourable Madalaboy Ndebele, Bulawayo Senator, Rittah Ndlovu, Tsholotsho North legislator, Honourable Libion Sibanda, and Matabeleland North Proportional Representative legislator, Honourable Sethulo Ncube, sustained injuries in the same crash.
Nkayi South legislator, Honourable Jabulani Hadebe, confirmed the incident to ZBC News.
Police are yet to confirm the accident.
