“As Dynamos, we are ready for the Cup. it is a big game for us, and, as hosts, we have done all the groundwork, having met with various stakeholders last week. Our game against Simba Bhora was meant to gauge the readiness for the tie and even though we had a share of spoils, we believe the boys are ready to play for the badge,” he said.

Mashingaidze implored the footballing community to rally behind Zimbabwe’s representatives taking part in continental competitions.

“These are no longer club assignments, but a national assignment. It is an opportunity to rally behind the national flag. Let the fans root for Ngezi and Dynamos,” he added.
