TALENTED Zimbabwean actor, Charles Mapalume popularly known as Marabha has been laid to rest in Epworth this Monday.
The versatile actor received a befitting send-off from thousands of fans, friends, industry players and family members who thronged Epworth cemetery this Monday.
Fans and fellow actors said Marabha made an immense contribution to the growth of the country’s creative sector and his legacy will live on.
“I worked with Marabha a short while after I started street theatre. I enjoy our time. Though now people think I neglected him, I always cherish our good memories,” actor, Freddy Manjalima (Kapfupi) said.
“I am happy that people have given him a befitting send-off. His contribution to the arts is much appreciated. We learnt from him,” actress Patience Muza (Mai Jilimba) noted.
Marabha, who succumbed to kidney complications on Saturday morning, is survived by three children.
