Befitting send-off for Justice Sello Nare

Scores of people gathered at the Brethren in Christ Church in Bulawayo to bid farewell to the late Retired Labour Court Judge, Justice Sello Nare.

Those who worked closely with him paid their last respects, remembering him as a champion of peace and national healing.”

“We learnt a lot from the late Rtd Justice Nare. He was a very humble man; he was fatherly and kind,” said a colleague.

The Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Judith Ncube hailed him as a dedicated civil servant.

“He was a lover of peace, the nation has lost a gentle giant,” she noted.

Family representative Professor Sheila Tlou thanked President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the state-assisted funeral, recognising his contributions.

“As a family we want to extend our gratitude to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for according a state assisted funeral to my cousin. It shows that the nation recognised his works,” said Prof Tlou

Justice Selo Nare was laid to rest alongside other notable figures at Lady Stanley Cemetery, to signify a tribute to his illustrious life and service.
