THE stage is set for the Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA), which will be held this Saturday at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
The 8th edition of the awards ceremony is expected to be a night of glitz and glamour, as creatives from the City of Kings and Queens are honoured for their outstanding contributions across various arts categories.
“Everything is in place for the 8th edition of the Bulawayo Arts Awards. Bulawayo creatives in the poetry, music, and literary work will be honoured,” Bulawayo Arts Awards Organiser, Mr Kudakwashe Takundwa said.
The one who will walk away with the People’s Choice Awards is set to be the biggest winner at the awards ceremony.
“Just like last year, the biggest winner at the awards is the one who will walk away with the People’s Choice award,” he said.
The awards ceremony will be punctuated by performances from some of the country’s heavyweights in the entertainment industry.
