Algeria-Zimbabwe partnership fosters AI talent development

Story by ZBC Reporter

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is in Algeria on a two-day state visit, has visited the National School of Artificial Intelligence, an AI-focused institution that draws students from across Africa.

He met a group of Zimbabwean students enrolled at the AI-focused institution.

To support their studies in artificial intelligence and other emerging fields like cybersecurity and nanotechnology, the Zimbabwean government, through a government-to-government scholarship cooperation with Algeria, has granted scholarships to hundreds of students.

Many are studying medicine, engineering, and artificial intelligence.
