THE ruling ZANU PF party says the massive developments spearheaded by the Second Republic during President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s first term in office will be accelerated in the next five years.
The assurance from the ruling party comes in the wake of celebrations following the inauguration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa for a new five-year term.
ZANU-PF Vice President and Second Secretary, General (Rtd) Dr Constantino Chiwenga said President Mnangagwa’s leadership has united Zimbabweans.
“It is under the able and visionary leadership of Cde Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa that we have come to appreciate our oneness as a people United by One flag and one national Anthem. Under his leadership, Zimbabwe is far more united despite political differences tormented by our detractors,” he said.
For ZANU PF Vice President and Second Secretary, Cde Kembo Mohadi, accelerating development across the country is high on the agenda.
“Thank you Your Excellency, for introducing the village development concept where 35 000 villages will receive solar boreholes and this is the way to go improving communities out there,” he said.
Zimbabwe has witnessed tremendous growth in the last five years under the Second Republic and stakeholders are predicting massive developments in President Mnangagwa’s new five-year term.
