ZIMBABWE is mourning the death of Brigadier General (Retired) Mark Charles Chimwaza, a distinguished senior officer of the Zimbabwe National Army.
Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumanei, Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, confirmed that Brigadier General Chimwaza passed away on Saturday at his home in Kuwadzana, Harare, following a short illness.
Mourners have gathered at his residence at House Number 5373, Kuwadzana 7, as family, colleagues, and members of the military pay their respects. Further details regarding funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
