ZANU PF’s Matabeleland South provincial leadership on Saturday convened a meeting in Manama, Gwanda District, to brief grassroots party structures on the resolutions and outcomes of the 22nd National People’s Conference held in Mutare in October.
The engagement formed part of the ruling party’s ongoing feedback programme, reinforcing its emphasis on maintaining close interaction between leadership and grassroots membership as it advances policy direction and organisational cohesion.
Addressing party members in Manama, provincial leaders outlined key resolutions adopted at the conference, underscoring the central role of grassroots structures in shaping and sustaining ZANU PF’s political agenda.
“As ZANU PF, this is what distinguishes us from other small parties, and as leadership, we brought to the people the outcomes of the conference,” ZANU PF Gwanda DCC Chairperson, Cde David Linda said.
“The conference unanimously adopted your resolution that President Mnangagwa should continue to lead beyond 2028 so that he finishes his work. The second one was on the superiority of the party over government,” ZANU PF central committee member, Cde Cecilia Ndubiwa said.
ZANU PF Matabeleland South Provincial Chairperson, Cde Mangaliso Ndlovu, took the opportunity to highlight some of the impactful projects implemented under the stewardship of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
“There has never been a President who works so hard like President Mnangagwa, and the nation is right to call him to stay beyond 2028. So we came here to give you feedback on what transpired at the conference, and as a party being guided by President Mnangagwa, we will continue to deliver what we promised you,” he said.
Matabeleland South leadership is on a trail to give feedback to all the constituencies on the successful 22nd national people’s conference held in Mutare in October this year.
