Job Sikhala and associate remanded in custody in South Africa over explosives charges

NATIONAL Democratic Working Group leader, Job Sikhala and his associate Alexander Thema have been remanded in custody by a South African court on charges of illegal possession of explosives. The pair will remain behind bars until their bail hearing on Wednesday
During the court proceedings this Monday, the State requested additional time to investigate the matter.
Sikhala(53) and Thema (78) were arrested on Friday last week, while travelling in a Ford Fiesta vehicle along the N14 highway towards Johannesburg, after exiting the Kgosi Mampuru correctional centre.
