The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) golf day is set to tee off this Friday at Chaplin golf club, with corporates and golf enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the event.
The third edition of the tournament will bring together key players from various sectors of the economy, including mining, service providers, aviation, and tourism, among others.
“We are excited about the tournament and its potential to bring together critical stakeholders in the business ecosystem. This event is not just about golf, but also about creating opportunities for meaningful interactions and partnerships that can contribute to national development,” ZBC Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sugar Chagonda said.
Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting vulnerable children in accessing basic education.
“We have identified education as a critical area of focus and have conducted a needs assessment to ensure that the funds are utilised effectively,” Mr Chagonda said.
With preparations well underway, ZBC is inviting more corporates to come on board and support this noble cause.
