THE Zimbabwe Archery developmental team has made it into the top three of the World AGA tournament in Namibia, and will fight for a gold medal this Saturday.
It was an action-packed day in Namibia this Friday as the Zimbabwe Archery team sought to overcome stiff competition from several countries in pursuit of a better finish at the World AGA tournament.
Andrew Manning emerged as Zimbabwe’s top archer at the event.
While the senior team could not secure a medal, the developmental side will be fighting for gold this Saturday after making it into the top three.
“I am so happy that we have good news for Zimbabwe, our development team has made it in the last three, along with Canada and the host, Namibia,” Zimbabwe Coach, Ray Funani said.
Other countries participating in the tournament include hosts Namibia, Canada, South Africa, Botswana, and Zambia.
