THERE is a fall-out between United States President Donald Trump and billionaire colleague, Elon Musk, with their differences continuing to widen over the Republican Policy Bill.
The tiff has escalated with President Trump expressing his disappointment with Musk’s reaction to the new policy and the pair continued to exchange words on their X handles, drawing the attention of both Democrats and Republican lawmakers.
According to Trump, Musk was upset that the bill removed a Biden-era electric vehicle tax break that benefited his company, Tesla.
Musk fired back and claimed that Trump “would have lost the election” without his help.
Trump threatened to sever U.S government ties with Musk’s business, which amounts to billions in contracts and subsidies.
Musk escalated the war of words claiming that Trump is “in the Epstein Files” and suggested that Trump should be impeached and replaced by Vice President JD Vance.
