THE President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged party members to be proactive in addressing challenges facing the people, reinforcing that Vision 2030 remains achievable.
Speaking at the 382nd Politburo meeting in Harare, President Mnangagwa highlighted progress in various sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, mining, tourism, and housing, as key indicators of national growth.
“In the agriculture sector, transformational programmes are underway to guarantee national security and sovereignty,” the President said.
“A clear framework is now in place to facilitate the issuance of title deeds towards guaranteeing the security of tenure and access to financing for that particular sector. I call upon stakeholders in the agriculture sector to revamp preparations for the upcoming 2025 winter wheat season.
“Infrastructure development projects are set to resume in earnest with the impending end of the rain season. Tourist arrivals are reaching unprecedented levels, while the mining sector projects are coming onstream, and having an overall impact on our country’s GDP,” President Mnangagwa said.
President Mnangagwa praised the strong involvement of industry stakeholders in strategic initiatives, highlighting its role in strengthening partnerships between the party, the state, and the private sector.
He further commended the Youth League for its efforts and emphasised the government’s commitment to supporting innovative and private enterprises.
