A Call to Action for a Brighter Africa

Article by Princess Kelelo PM Dhlamini Skade

It is imperative that we reflect on our habits and practices that may be holding us back. It is time for us to make a conscious effort to break free from the chains of our past and work towards a brighter future.

We must stop the political conflicts that have no direction and instead advocate for the unity of our continent. We must reconsider our obsolete traditions that violate women and children’s rights.

For instance, we must put an end to child marriages, which rob young girls of their childhood and education. We must also abolish the practice of forcing widows to remarry within the deceased family, which is a clear violation of their human rights.

Furthermore, we must stop the unjust tradition of taking all property or wealth from widows and children after the death of their husbands or fathers. This practice leaves many families vulnerable and destitute.

Additionally, we must prioritize girl child education and recognize its importance in building a prosperous and equitable society. We must also challenge the patriarchal norms that lead to men holding positions of power and authority, while women are relegated to subordinate roles.

We must also stop the abuse of alcohol in the name of traditional ceremonies. Africa needs to prioritize agriculture and own our mineral wealth to rebuild. All African wealth is in the soil. We must recognize the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in driving economic growth and development.

No matter how small your trade is, you are still an entrepreneur. We must celebrate and support each other’s endeavors, and work together to build a prosperous and united Africa.

Africa One Identity invites you to join us in this journey towards a brighter future. Let us work together to promote African excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

We believe that together, we can create a brighter future for our continent. If you would like to explore new opportunities for collaboration or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on +27737528283.

Africa is a continent with a rich history, diverse cultures, and abundant natural resources. However, despite these advantages, Africa still faces numerous challenges that hinder its progress and development.

One of the major challenges facing Africa is poverty. Many Africans live in poverty, without access to basic necessities like food, water, shelter, and healthcare. This is a result of various factors, including lack of education, unemployment, and poor governance.

Another challenge facing Africa is inequality. Many African countries have significant disparities in wealth, with a small elite controlling most of the resources and power. This has led to social and economic injustices, as well as conflicts and instability.

Africa also faces significant environmental challenges, including climate change, deforestation, and pollution. These challenges threaten the continent’s biodiversity, natural resources, and human health.

Despite these challenges, Africa has the potential to become a major player in the global economy. The continent has a young and growing population, with over 60% of Africans under the age of 25. This demographic dividend presents a significant opportunity for economic growth and development.

Africa also has significant natural resources, including oil, gas, minerals, and fertile land. These resources can be harnessed to drive economic growth and development, and to improve the lives of Africans.

However, to realize this potential, Africa must prioritize education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We must invest in our young people, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the 21st century.

We must also promote innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging Africans to start their own businesses and to develop new products and services. This will help to drive economic growth and development, and to create jobs and opportunities for Africans.

Furthermore, we must prioritize good governance and accountability, ensuring that our leaders are transparent and accountable to the people. We must also promote social justice and equality, ensuring that all Africans have access to basic necessities like healthcare, education, and justice.

It is crucial that we analyze and do away with religious cults that are breaking away families and destroying the continent’s wealth. These cults are building unnecessary and unbenefiting structures, buying cars for religious leaders, and accumulating wealth while the continent is sinking in spiritual poverty.

We must recognize that true spirituality is not about accumulating wealth or material possessions, but about promoting love, compassion, and kindness. We must promote a culture of spirituality that is inclusive, tolerant, and respectful of all people, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Let us work together to build a brighter future for Africa. Let us promote African excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Let us create a continent where all Africans can thrive and reach their full potential.
We continue to create a One Africa with one identity, our call is to carry the torch and run with it!
