Pakistan have leveled the One Day International Series after defeating the Chevrons by 10 wickets in the second ODI at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.

Zimbabwe walloped the visitors by 80 runs in the first match of the series, but they were not able to repeat their heroics in the second match after being dismissed for a below par 145 runs.

In a response led by man of the match Saim Ayub who scored a century, Pakistan raced to the target without losing a wicket.

So aggressive was the rookie that his opening partner Abdullah Shafique only scored 32.

The Chevrons captain Craig Ervine conceded they need to regroup ahead of Thursday’s decider.

“We need to refocus ahead of the third match. It was not our day but we will come out right on Thursday,” he said.

The two sides will face-off this Thursday in the third and final match of the ODI Series.
