Sakhile Dube jets off to Mexico for Miss Universe pageant

ZIMBABWEAN beauty queen, Sakhile Dube has left the country for the Miss Universe pageant set for Mexico next month.

The 27-year-old beauty will join more than 130 queens from around the globe as she represents Zimbabwe at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant.

Sakhile Dube, who left for a boot camp this Monday evening, is optimistic of placing high at the final contest set for the 16th of next month.

She added Zimbabweans can boost her chances of getting to the semi-finals by voting on the Miss Universe online platform.

“I firmly believe that I’m now prepared. I have been working hard on this journey, and I have been practising my walk, as you have seen on my social media platforms. I have also been taking classes for public speaking to improve my public speaking and my interview communication skills. So I feel very ready, and I’m excited about this journey.

“The voting platforms have already opened on the Miss Universe application, so everyone can go even on my Instagram social media to click on the link in my bio and can vote every single day. One free vote per day and other votes are available to buy,” she said.

Organisers of the world pageant announced that more than 130 contestants are vying for the coveted crown this year.
