2025 A-Level results set for release as ZIMSEC maintains leak-free record

THE Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) will today release the 2025 Advanced Level examination results, marking the third consecutive year in which national examinations have been conducted and concluded without any leakages.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Professor Torerayi Moyo, who described the development as a major milestone in safeguarding the credibility of Zimbabwe’s examination system.

Prof Moyo said the sustained record of leak-free examinations reflects the success of reforms introduced by the Ministry to strengthen examination administration, monitoring and security.

“I am pleased to announce that the 2025 Advanced Level Examination Results will be officially announced by ZIMSEC tomorrow at 12 noon. This marks the third consecutive year in which our national examinations have been conducted and concluded without any leakages. This is a remarkable achievement that underscores the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity and credibility of our Examination Systems,” Prof Moyo said.

He attributed the progress to deliberate reforms, enhanced monitoring mechanisms and robust security protocols implemented across the examination process.

Minister Moyo said the reforms are aligned with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030, which places quality education at the centre of Zimbabwe’s national development agenda.

“It is the direct outcome of deliberate reforms, enhanced monitoring systems, and robust security protocols that we have implemented in alignment with His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030. This vision rightly places quality education at the heart of our national development agenda,” he added.

Prof Moyo commended ZIMSEC, educators and all stakeholders involved in the administration of the examinations for their commitment to ensuring a transparent, fair and efficient process.

“I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council ZIMSEC,our committed Educators, and all stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to ensure a transparent, fair, and efficient examination process.”

The Minister reiterated Government’s commitment to building an inclusive, accountable and responsive education system that meets the aspirations of learners and the broader national development goals.

“Let us continue to nurture an Education system that is inclusive, accountable, and responsive to the aspirations of our great nation.Together, we will continue to build a Zimbabwe where every learner is empowered to thrive,” he said.

Candidates will be able to access their results through official ZIMSEC platforms once they are released later today.
