VP Mohadi opens SADC Energy Week golf tournament in Victoria Falls

VICE President Colonel Retired Kembo Mohadi this morning teed off at the SADC Sustainable Energy Week Golf Tournament being held on the sidelines of the regional energy indaba in Victoria Falls.

The tournament has brought together delegates, energy sector executives, and policymakers as part of activities accompanying high-level discussions on advancing sustainable power solutions across Southern Africa.

The Vice President’s participation highlights the government’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and stakeholder engagement beyond formal conference sessions.

The golf event also provides a platform for networking and building partnerships among SADC member states, power utilities, and private sector players working to accelerate energy security, infrastructure development, and investment in renewable energy.

The SADC Sustainable Energy Week conference is expected to conclude on Friday, with an awards ceremony set to cap both the deliberations and the golf tournament.
