POLICE in Mutoko have moved swiftly to clamp down on drug-related crime over the festive period, arresting three individuals on Christmas Day for possession of dangerous drugs, following a tip-off from members of the public.
The suspects, Brighton Mazarura (33), Aleck Kadhoro (32), and Patience Nyaumba (37), were taken into custody, and a search of the premises resulted in the seizure of 73 sachets of crystal meth and a plastic bag containing loose dagga.
Officers also confiscated drug-related paraphernalia, including a scale, lighters, surgical blades, and bulbs containing drug residue. The trio remains in police custody as investigations continue.
