President Mnangagwa leaves for AfDB meetings in Egypt

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left Harare for Sharma El Sheikh, Egypt to attend meetings of the African Development Bank and the African Development Fund that are ending this Friday. 

He was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Vice President General Rtd Dr Constantino Chiwenga and other senior government officials.

President Mnangagwa was invited to attend the meetings by the Egyptian government, with the official invitation having been delivered by the Egyptian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Salwa Mowafi last week.

The development comes on the back of Zimbabwe last week hosting the High Level Debt Resolution Forum on arrears clearance and debt resolution process, championed by the AfDB President, Dr  Akinwumi Adessina and facilitated by former Mozambican President, His Excellency Joachim Chissano.
