NGEZI Platinum Stars have confirmed their technical team for the 2026 Premier Soccer League season, appointing Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva as head coach.
Mutiwekuziva, formerly with Herentals, has been part of Ngezi’s backroom setup for the past two seasons, serving as assistant to Takesure Chiragwi. He stepped into a caretaker role late last term following Chiragwi’s suspension and has now been entrusted with the full-time position.
He will be assisted by Clifford Dzvairo, who guided FC Hunters to promotion into the Premier Soccer League, and Farai Tawechera, who comes in as second assistant coach and head of development.
Former CAPS United striker Limited Chikafa has been appointed team manager at Madamburo.
Ngezi are reshaping their backroom staff after parting ways with Chiragwi and several members of his technical team, alongside the departure of nine players during the off-season.
