Renowned Musician, Jonah Moyo being conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Creative and Performing Arts by President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is the Great Zimbabwe University Chancellor at the institution’s 18th graduation ceremony.
Jonah Moyo, a legendary musician leading the Devera Ngwena Jazz band has a music career which stretches from the 1970s and is known for hits such as, “Solo naMutsai, Wangu Pee, Ndafunga Makare, Mafuro Manyoro among others.
He has been working with Great Zimbabwe University in the Robert Mugabe School of Heritage and Education as a music instructor.
