VERSATILE young musician, Calvin Mangena who featured on Feli Nandi’s hit song “Mubayei” is making waves with his latest project titled “IHulumende.”
The Hip Hop song featuring over 10 artists has garnered half a million views on YouTube in just three weeks.
The upcoming musician’s versatility wooed big stars in the music industry to hop on to his “IHulumende” single and turn it into a masterpiece after adding their artistic flares to the Hip Hop track.
Mangena explained how the song ended up featuring over 10 artists, including Nutty O, Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Bling 4 and Michael Magz.
‘The song ended up featuring over 10 artists and it is seven minutes long. What I did was to send my verse to my manager and he posted it on social media. After posting the song on social media the song just exploded because every day I would get a clip of an artist who would have added his or her flare to the song,”
On to the inspiration behind the song, Mangena says the seven-minute song is basically a hype song that encourages people to believe in themselves.
The rising music star has also released another single titled “Amalanga”.
