THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League returns this week with Matchday three fixtures that could begin to shape the early standings, headlined by clashes involving Highlanders FC, CAPS United and Dynamos FC.

Highlanders open the round against MWOS FC at Barbourfields Stadium, with both sides seeking their first win after collecting two points from their opening matches.

The Bulawayo giants will be under pressure to secure maximum points and steady their campaign, while MWOS, who finished as runners-up in their debut season last year, are also searching for form.

At Rufaro Stadium, FC Hunters face a stern test against FC Platinum, as the former look to make an impression against one of the league’s established sides.

Triangle United host early pace-setters CAPS United at Gibbo Stadium, with CAPS aiming to maintain their strong start to the campaign.

Newcomers Hardrock FC continue their top-flight journey with a home tie against Chicken Inn FC at Chahwanda Stadium, while Ngezi Platinum Stars take on ZPC Kariba at Baobab Stadium.

Elsewhere, TelOne FC face Simba Bhora at Ascot Stadium.

The round continues on Thursday with a potentially explosive fixture between Bulawayo Chiefs and Dynamos FC at Barbourfields.

In other matches, Manica Diamonds host defending champions Scottland FC at Gibbo Stadium, while Herentals FC clash with Agama FC at Rufaro Stadium.

With teams still settling into the new season, this round of fixtures presents an early opportunity to build momentum and gain ground in the title race.
