WARRIORS forward Tawanda Chirewa has returned to England after the Zimbabwe Football Association granted him permission.
In a statement, ZIFA said they had a prior agreement with the 22-year-old for him to feature in one match before heading back to his club to familiarise himself with the new technical setup.
Chirewa will rejoin his Premier League club, Wolves, under the guidance of newly-appointed coach Rob Edwards.
He made his mark in the Warriors’ 3-1 loss to Algeria in an international friendly played in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, scoring Zimbabwe’s consolation goal.
