WARRIORS defender Shane Maroodza is attracting interest from the English Championship, with Cardiff City reportedly making a move for the highly rated left-back.
Reports indicate that the Welsh club have tabled an offer of £750 000, plus a 20 percent sell-on clause, to Bosnian Premier League side FK Sarajevo for the 22-year-old Zimbabwe international.
Sarajevo are, however, reportedly holding out for £1 million and a 25 percent sell-on clause before sanctioning the defender’s departure.
Maroodza joined the Bosnian club in October last year and enjoyed an impressive debut season, making 22 league appearances to establish himself as a regular in the first team.
The England-born defender has earned five senior caps for the Warriors and is widely regarded as one of Zimbabwe’s most promising young defenders.
