Another suspected murder case in Murehwa

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a suspected murder case after a 12-year-old boy from Musami village in Murewa was found dead with his remains stashed in a vending cooler box.

ZRP Mashonaland East Provincial spokesperson, Inspector Simon Chazovachiyi confirmed the incident, saying the matter is now being handled by Criminal Investigation Department.

The now deceased is alleged to have gone missing early this month after hplaying with his friends at Musami Business Centre.

The deceased’s body was later discovered stashed in a vending cooler box by his younger brother, Genius Gorembeu.

The latest case comes two weeks after the body of a three-year-old girl was found deformed and decomposed in Guruve.

Meanwhile, five assault suspects from Hatcliffe Extension suburb in Harare will remain in custody pending their plea recording set for this Tuesday.

The suspects are Zeripah and Natasha Kanduza, Fortunate Tembo, Olleen Vinyungwi and Mitchel Kariwo.

Allegations are that early this month the suspect assaulted Alice Chaichai of Hatcliffe Extension suburb, accusing her of wrecking marriages in the community.
