ZIMBABWE will be aiming to seal the three-match T20 International series against Bangladesh when the sides meet in the second match at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Friday.
The Chevrons head into the contest with a 1-0 lead after winning the series opener by 32 runs, having already secured the One-Day International series against the visitors.
Captain Sikandar Raza said Zimbabwe will continue testing different combinations while striving to improve with each match.
“We’re going to do it harder anyway. We want to put ourselves under pressure. We know Bulawayo is a good chasing ground. Cricket never flows that way. After the powerplay I thought 170 was a fair score. It doesn’t matter now. I take the positives and there are a few areas we want to discuss in the changing room so that you see a better side on Friday. For us to keep progressing in the game, we have to beat countries like Bangladesh and India,” he said.
Zimbabwe require victory on Friday to clinch the series with one match remaining, as they look to extend their impressive run of form against Bangladesh.
