ZNA boosts professionalism as 156 graduands complete training programme

THE Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has graduated 156 soldiers who successfully completed the General Squad Drill and Small Arms Course at Headquarters 1 Brigade on Friday.

 

The graduation marks another step in the military’s ongoing efforts to build a highly skilled, disciplined and professional defence force capable of safeguarding national interests and contributing to peace and stability.

 

A secure environment remains critical to economic growth, investor confidence and the successful implementation of national development programmes.

 

The training programme focused on developing core military competencies, equipping soldiers with essential skills in drill procedures, weapon handling, marksmanship and field discipline.

 

Military officials said the course was designed to enhance operational readiness and prepare personnel to effectively carry out a wide range of national security responsibilities.

 

The graduation of the 156 soldiers reflects the Zimbabwe National Army’s continued commitment to strengthening professionalism, discipline and preparedness within its ranks as it fulfils its constitutional mandate of defending the nation and maintaining security.
