ANOTHER suspect has appeared in court in connection with the murder of prominent businessman Joseph Mutangadura, bringing the total number of people arrested in the case to eight.
Ephraim Alfas (37) was arraigned before the Harare Magistrates Court on Friday, facing charges of murder and armed robbery. He was remanded in custody pending further proceedings.
Prosecutors allege that on August 17, Alfas was part of a gang that stormed Mutangadura Hideout in an attempted robbery. During the incident, Mutangadura was shot once in the chest and died at the scene. Investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
