ADMINISTRATIVE professionals have been recognised as key drivers of organisational productivity and innovation, with their contributions described as central to achieving national development goals.
This recognition came during the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools Awards ceremony held in Harare on Friday, where several administrative staff were honoured for their exceptional work in integrating technology and improving operational efficiency.
Award recipients expressed gratitude for the acknowledgement, stressing that enabling work environments contribute significantly to their creativity and career growth.
“I am so happy and thrilled. I just want to thank my bosses who have made it possible and supported me all the way,” an award winner said.
“I am so grateful for this award because it shows how we are empowered. As Nyaradzo PAs, our managers allow us to show our creativity and allow us to learn,” another stated.
The Minister of Women Affairs Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa, who read a speech on behalf of the First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, underscored that institutions fostering such excellence are fundamental to national development.
“Institutions such as IAC are essential to achieving Vision 2030. His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa always says no one must be left behind and no place must be left and no community must be left behind. Tonight I am here to honour ladies and gentlemen who have excelled in their field of work. To me, these are the heroes and heroines of every enterprise. Their role is far from clerical, you are the engine room of any organisation, you are the custodians of time, the gatekeepers of productivity and the chief architects of a smooth operating environment.”
The awards ceremony exemplifies the Second Republic’s commitment to recognising and uplifting every tier of the workforce, acknowledging that national progress is built on the dedication and excellence of professionals across all sectors.
