All set for burial of National Hero Archbishop Mwazha

NATIONAL Hero Archbishop Paul Mwazha will be laid to rest this Sunday at Chirasauta Shrine, following a packed church service held on Saturday at the Guvambwa Holy Shrine in Sadza, Mashonaland East Province.

Born in October 1918, Archbishop Mwazha, the founder of the African Apostolic Church, passed away on November 20.

He was conferred National Hero status by His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa in recognition of his lifelong commitment to uniting the nation and his leadership in prayer.

Sunday’s burial is expected to attract thousands of mourners, following the massive turnout witnessed during Saturday’s service, a clear reflection of the late Archbishop’s enduring legacy and profound influence across Zimbabwe.
