THE 2025 Celtic Cup gets underway this Wednesday at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, with Zimbabwe’s Gems set to face Northern Ireland.
The Gems are looking to build on last year’s opener, where they beat Northern Ireland 54-46.
Zimbabwe’s team has been sharpening their skills with two preparatory matches against Wales ahead of the tournament.
Other African sides, Uganda and Namibia, will kick off the day’s action, while hosts Scotland take on Wales in the final match.
The Celtic Cup, running from November 26 to November 30, features six of the world’s top 18 netball nations.
Ranked 13th globally, the Gems will be seeking to strengthen their world standings and sharpen their competitiveness as they build momentum towards the 2027 Netball World Cup qualifiers.
