ZIMBABWE’S Chevrons are looking to secure victory over Tanzania and confirm top spot in Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers, when the two clash at Harare Sports Club this Tuesday.

The hosts have already secured a spot in the semifinals after a commanding 170-run victory over Botswana on Sunday, and now it’s up to the Chevrons to finish the business against Tanzania.

With two wins already under their belt, against Uganda and Botswana, a victory against Tanzania would not only maintain the winning momentum but also confirm top spot.

The Chevrons are on the verge of qualifying for the global stage, and this match is a crucial step towards achieving the goal.

Meanwhile, Uganda and Botswana will face off in the other Group B match.

In Group A, Namibia leads the pack and will take on Malawi, while Kenya will clash with Nigeria.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semifinals, and the finalists will secure spots in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
