Sugar Sugar Boys ready for Platinum challenge

LOWVELD-based side Triangle United are looking to upset giants FC Platinum when the two teams penciled to clash at Gibbo stadium in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter on Sunday.

After avoiding defeat in their last 10 matches winning three and drawing seven, the Sugar Sugar Boys have a date against tricky customers, FC Platinum at Gibbo stadium, this Sunday.

Triangle United Football Club Head Coach, Genesis Mangombe clearly knows what is at stake.

“The boys have been performing well, and I can safely say that they have regained their confidence. We will not treat FC Platinum with kid gloves because they are dangerous since they are a wounded lion from their loss to Scottland who beat them 5 – 2 at their base at Mandava Stadium. We expect to win this game, taking advantage of playing at home. We are preparing for the game, and we are ready,” he said.

Triangle United had a slow start to the season, but they seem to have found their goal-scoring touch ahead of a potentially explosive run-in.
