CHIBUKU Super Cup defending champions, Dynamos, will go through the preliminary stage in order to qualify for the first round of the prestigious tournament.

Following this Thursday’s draw held in Harare, the struggling Harare giants will have to navigate their way past Yadah in the preliminary round for a ticket into the first round of the cup competition, where they will face log leaders Simba Bhora.

Another preliminary round match features 18th-placed Kwekwe United and fellow strugglers Triangle United.

Meanwhile, the first round draw will see premiership debutants MWOS clashing with CAPS United in a potentially explosive match.

Scottland face Green Fuel, rejuvenated FC Platinum have a date with Manica Diamonds, TelOne play Bikita Minerals, ZPC Kariba clash with Chicken Inn, and Herentals have been drawn against Highlanders.

Last season’s Chibuku Super Cup finalists, Ngezi Platinum, will face the winner between Kwekwe United and Triangle.

The preliminary round of matches will be played at neutral venues, with the Yadah–Dynamos match pencilled for Ngoni Stadium in Norton on the 6th of August, while the match between Triangle and Kwekwe United will be played the following day at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane.

First-round matches will be played during the weekend of 9 and 10 August.
