UGANDA-THE national rugby team, the Sables, have made a strong start to the defence of their Africa Cup after thumping Morocco 43-8 in Uganda this Tuesday.

The Sables are the reigning African champions and if they retain the Rugby Africa Cup, they will progress to the World Cup set for Australia next year.

Zimbabwe were efficient in their opener, dominating the set pieces, while man of the match, Ina Prior was clinical with his kicking – achieving 100 % accuracy.

After their dominant 43-8 win against Morocco in the opener, Zimbabwe will now gear up for a fiery semi-final clash against the winner of the East African derby between hosts Uganda and Kenya on Sunday.
