Mozambican President, Daniel Chapo has paid a courtesy call on SADC chairperson, President Emmerson Mnangagwa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The two leaders met behind closed doors, with President Chapo briefing the media that their discussions highlighted the need for unity amongst SADC member states in tackling similar challenges that affect the bloc’s economic development.
President Chapo also noted the need for increased trade between Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
President Mnangagwa is in Addis Ababa, where he was attending the 38th ordinary session of the Assembly of heads of state and government of the African Union .
