23-year-old beauty, Courtney Jongwe was crowned Miss World Zimbabwe queen at a ceremony held in Harare this Saturday.
The 23-year-old emerged the winner after outshining more than ten other beauties who were vying for the coveted Miss World Zimbabwe crown.
The competition saw some of the renowned models from the country also participating including former Miss Zimbabwe 2022 Charlotte Muziri, Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 runner up Amanda Mpofu, current Miss Uhuru, Life Matunzeni, Miss Environment 2023 Pauline Marere and Miss Intercontinental Zimbabwe 2022 Yolanda Chimbarami.
Congratulating the winner, businesswoman Zodwa Mkhandla who represented Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga, emphasised the power of pageants in placing Zimbabwe on the world map.
Jongwe, who also represented the country at the Miss Earth contest in 2023 will represent Zimbabwe at the Miss World 2025 competition.
