THE Women Premier Soccer League enters Matchday Three this Saturday, with defending champions Herentals Queens eyeing the top spot when they face MSU Queens in Gweru.
Herentals Queens are second on the log with six points, tied with log leaders Black Rhinos, while Platinum Royals, Correctional Queens and Black Mambas Queens all have two wins apiece.
A win against MSU Queens, who are second from the bottom, will see Herentals Queens maintaining their unbeaten run and put more pressure on Black Rhinos at the top of the table.
Herentals Queens are in fine form, having thrashed newcomers ZRP Harare Queens 9-nil in their previous match.
On the other hand, MSU Queens are struggling to find their footing, having lost their previous two matches.
They will be hoping to cause an upset and pick up their first set of three points.
In other matches, log leaders Black Rhinos host Mutare City Queens at 2 Brigade, Conduit Soccer Academy face Chapungu Queens at Mudhidho stadium, while Black Mambas Queens welcome Faith Drive at Mkushi Academy.
Highlanders Royals clash with Correctional Queens at Highlanders Sports Club, Harare City battle Hope Academy at Motor Action Sports Club with the last match of the day pitting Maningi Youth Academy and ZRP Harare Queens at Alex Sports Club.
Matchday three concludes this Sunday as Sheasham Queens face off Platinum Royals at Gweru Sports Club.
