TWO more suspects involved in the US$700 000 heist have been arrested with the duo appearing in court this Saturday.
The suspects 29-year-old Obvious Kuwanza and 28-year-old Godknows Garira were apprehended in Chipinge and remanded in custody pending trial.
Meanwhile, Former magistrate, Shane Kubonera and his co-accused, Allan Nhamo Bhasvi, appeared in court on Saturday for alleged fraud and impersonation.
Bhasvi is accused of impersonating the Principal Protocol Officer to the President and, along with Kubonera, defrauding a victim of US$10,000 under the false promise of land, equipment, and access to the official.
Takudzwa Marlon Muza, an ICT technician for the Judicial Service Commission, was also brought before the court this Saturday for allegedly accepting a US$350 bribe to influence a High Court judgment.
He was remanded in custody awaiting further proceedings.
In yet another case, twenty-three-year-old Phaeton Mutinyanya was convicted by a Mbare magistrate for selling alcohol to ten minors aged between five and eleven during the festive season last year. He will return to court on Monday for sentencing.
