President Emmerson Mnangagwa says land tenure security encourages investment and productivity, and with secure land tenure, farmers can have access to finance to enhance income.
He said this while addressing stakeholders at the launch of the Land Tenure Implementation at Precabe Farm in Kwekwe this Friday.
He said the title deed will preserve security and spur investment which shows the Second Republic’s commitment towards empowering beneficiaries of the Land Reform Programme by giving them tenure to unlock value from land.
President Mnangagwa said as the land tenure implementation unfolds, war veterans, women and those living with disabilities must not be left behind.
He urged financial institutions to embrace title deeds to enable access to finance which is critical to productivity.
Recipients of the title deeds have been urged to utilise them to defend the country’s revolution.
