Bulawayo giants Highlanders are back in the title race after making the most of FC Platinum’s slip-up to move within seven points of the log leaders.
Bosso beat city rivals Bulawayo Chiefs two-nil at Barbourfields stadium while log leaders FC Platinum played out to a goalless draw against defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars at Mandava stadium.
Highlanders are still fifth, but they are now seven points behind log leaders FC Platinum, while Ngezi Platinum and Simba Bhora on 34 points are second and third.
Manica Diamonds who are a point behind complete the top four.
A traditional giant of Zimbabwean football, Highlanders have not won the league since 2006 and the closest they came was a second-place finish under Kelvin Kaindu who has returned for another stint.
Elsewhere, Dynamos returned to winning ways with a narrow one-nil victory over troubled Hwange.
Coincidentally, the win was only the second time this season Highlanders and Dynamos have won on the same weekend.
The last time it happened was in week four when DeMbare beat Bikita Minerals while Bosso edged TelOne.
The victory keeps Dynamos in sixth with 27 points while another giant CAPS United conclude the top half of the log with 23 points after a one-nil loss to Herentals at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
The bottom four clubs remain the same with Arenel Movers failing to move off the foot of the table with 11 points, Hwange who are hoping for a miraculous escape coined by Rodwell Dhlakama are second from bottom with 13 points.
Chegutu Pirates are four points better than Hwange while TelOne have 19 points.
Meanwhile, the Premier Soccer League will continue this Wednesday with midweek action lined up across the country.
