FORMER Zimbabwe Rugby Union (ZRU) President, Aaron Jani has died.
He was 54.
Jani, who was also Rugby Africa Treasurer, passed on Wednesday morning in Harare after a long illness, ZRU confirmed.
Jani served as ZRU president for six years before that, he was the chairperson of the U20 committee.
A speedy winger during his playing days at club rugby and for the Sables, Jani was a servant of the game.
Funeral arrangements will be advised in due course.
