PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is in Chipinge for the launch of the ruling ZANU PF party’s 2023 General Election Manifesto.

The President’s first port of call was St Peter’s Mission Hospital, where he commissioned ambulances and hospital equipment as part of government’s health sector capacitation programme meant to ensure universal health coverage.

Cde Mnangagwa is accompanied by Vice President General Retired Dr Constantino Chiwenga, who is also the Minister of Health and Child Care, among other senior government officials.

After the launch of the ZANU PF election campaign, the people of Chipinge will be treated to entertainment through a music gala that will be staged overnight to commemorate the life of national hero, Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole.
