PREMIER soccer league action continues this weekend with log leaders CAPS United featuring in another big match as they face former champions Chicken Inn at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
It will be the perfect relish for Sunday’s late lunch with a mix of some greens and a rooster as log leaders CAPS United face Chicken Inn.
The match will also be spiced up by the fact that 2015 champions Chicken Inn will be facing 2016 title winners CAPS United.
The Green Machine maintained pole position despite being held to a one-all draw by defending champions FC Platinum.
And it is a case of another weekend, another tough encounter for Makepeke as their credentials will be put to test by the Gamecocks.
Although Chicken Inn is 9th with seven points, four points away from CAPS United, the Prince Matore-coached side has traditionally been a thorn in the flesh for the Harare Giants who are on a quest to end a seven-year wait for the league title.
Matchday six kicks off this Friday at the National Sports Stadium with an encounter between ZPC Kariba and Manica Diamonds.
The action continues Saturday as Green Fuel search for their first win at their adopted home when they host a Ngezi Platinum side that picked up its first win of the season last week.
Reigning champions FC Platinum welcome Triangle at Mandava Stadium while Hwange clash with struggling Cranborne Bullets at Luveve.
Bulawayo giants, Highlanders visit Miracle boys Yadah at the National Sports Stadium and Black Rhinos play Herentals at Baobab Stadium in Mhondoro Ngezi.
On Sunday, Harare giants Dynamos take on Bulawayo Chiefs at the National Sports Stadium, Sheasham will be up against Simba Bhora at Mandava with the main match pitting Chicken Inn and CAPS United set for Barbourfields Stadium.
