GIANTS, Dynamos and log leaders CAPS United will renew their rivalry this Sunday as the two Castle Lager Premier Soccer League giants clash in the Harare Derby at Rufaro Stadium.

DeMbare head into the match on the back of a four-match winless run, while Makepekepe lost their last match.

The match promises to be entertaining, with the two capital clubs having renewed vigour this season after the struggles of last year.

Last season, the two teams drew 1-all in the first edition before Dynamos edged the reverse encounter one-nil.

PSL action, however, starts on Saturday with rejuvenated Simba Bhora hosting ZPC Kariba at Wadzanayi. Inconsistent FC Platinum welcomes defending champions, Scotland, to Mandava, while impressive Ngezi Platinum Stars make the short trip to Harare for a date against struggling FC Hunters at the Heart Stadium.

Norton-based MWOS dates Chicken Inn in a potentially exciting encounter at Ngoni, while Bulawayo Chiefs face Herentals at Barbourfields. The battle of the winless teams, Manica Diamonds and AGAMA, set for the reopened Sakubva stadium, concludes the day’s action.

Bulawayo giants, Highlanders, will seek to return to winning ways when they face Triangle at Barbourfields on Sunday.
